We’ve got a new/old LP from Seattle’s Unnatural Helpers. Comprised of their first self released CD with some previously unreleased songs. Rob Vertigo had this to say about it
“There’s a history of Pacific NW grime, grit and a snarling wry wit caked under his fingernails. Just because his calloused hands bleat out garage perfection doesn’t mean something clattery, weird or dark isn’t gonna’ be around the bend. Angular knee-jerk rock, Fuzz-muffed and Muddled-ga-runge, overcast punkish gloom, heavy stoner chug, Sonics soulful belting, Redd Kross speed and sugar crunched pop. The whole fawking caboodle is on the table. And this carry-on contains HITS.”
We did 100 on random color vinyl and 400 on black!

Next up is the debut two song 7” from Elvis Christ. Rock’n’roll EC is the rotten lo-fi rock’n’roll brainchild of Jason Testasecca. JT is half of “Mandy & Jason” who’s tape you may have heard from Burger Records, a touring member of the Nobunny band in various roles at various times and recording engineer to the stars (Midnight Snaxxx, Goochi Boiz and many others). Get in this golden chariot and ride to salvation.
Just like the Helpers LP we did 100 on random color vinyl and 400 on black.

Part of our big move to a new space is our new “Venue” space inside the store. It’s an all ages spot so no drinking or smoking (we are very serious about this). We’re taking submissions now if you’re interested in playing. Email us at shows@1234gorecords.com . This is going to be a very well curated space so we will not be booking every show that comes to us however there are no real limits on style or anything like that. Currently we have two shows booked

Literally too many to even put out in the racks right now. We recent bought a sizable collection of classic Blues, Jazz and Rock vinyl. Most of it Mono first pressings in amazing shape. Some of these you’d need a time machine to find nicer copies. On top of that a bunch of good punk and indie stuff.
We’re in similar shape for New vinyl, Used CD’s and Tapes with more arriving pretty much daily. Come see about us and tell your friends who may be interested in these things. As much as we love having them around to listen to in the shop we’d love to see you guys walk about the door with them!
That’s it for now but we’ll be sending out another mailing in a week or so with more new releases from our label, more shows and more of everything else! If you want to unsubscribe please hit the links at the bottom here! Thanks again everyone!
Oh and don’t forget our new store is accross the street from our old location. We’re now at 420 40th Street Suite 5, Oakland, CA 94609 in the center of the block!
