MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Minneapolis hard rock quartet, 3 Pill Morning, is currently wrapping up a slew of spring tour-dates in support of Smile Empty Soul, as the group gears up for its label debut, Black Tie Love Affair, on July 17th (A2Z/Page 2 Music/eOne). The band recently checked in with Noisecreep.com to chat about the first single, “Rain,” which hits Active Rock radio stations this week, while offering fans an exclusive, online stream of the new track: http://www.noisecreep.com/2012/06/11/3-pill-morning/.
“The song is about moving on after dealing with a liar and a cheat in a relationship,” explains vocalist, Jeff Stebbins, in the Noisecreep post. “Instead of sitting around depressed, you grab some cash, grab some friends, party it up and move on.”
Check out the rest of the interview and listen to “Rain” now on Noisecreep.com!

The Black Tie Love Affair track list is…

2. Skin
3. Nothing’s Real
4. Loser
5. I Want That For You
6. So Good To Leave
7. Take Control
8. Daddy’s Little Girl

Black Tie Love Affair was recorded in winter 2012 with producer/engineer, Jon King (Augustana, Future Leaders of The World, Throwing Gravity, Darling Parade), at his Page 2 Studios in Nashville, Tenn.
Darcy Fray at I Am Thinker supplied cover artwork for the release.
The band’s label debut will look to build on the success of the 2011 independent release, Take Control, which broke into the national spotlight behind the hit single, “Loser,” a mainstay on the Active Rock Top 100 chart for over five months.
“From our perspective, Black Tie Love Affair is the album that will put 3 Pill Morning on the map to stay,” said Stebbins. “We’ve been a band for a long time and our expectations for this release are light years beyond what we’ve pushed for before. Our plans are simple, tour, tour, tour, and always be writing and pushing to beat anything we’ve done before.”

3 Pill Morning will hit the road in support of the dynamic release on a July run alongside Georgia rock veteran, Sevendust. A list of all confirmed dates can be seen below.
