Electro/pop vixen, Courtney Jenaé, is announcing the re-release of her catchy electro/pop single and video, “Accelerate” off of her current EP – Uncovered (Wondr Music) now available on iTunes. The four-song EP was originally released in November 2012.

“Accelerate”, written by Courtney Jenaé and Stephen Stahl (Wondrboy) features catchy electro/ pop hooks with rock and dubstep influences sprinkled throughout. The video was shot in Reno, NV – produced by Wondr Music and directed by Jason Fijal (Production designer for Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding) and is a throwback to the 1985 flick, Mad Max Beyond Thumderdome, a post-apocalyptic themed film.

Courtney describes her music as pop/electro with elements of rock. While she is bright and talented beyond her years, life’s most complicated themes inspire her masterful lyrics and can be equated to love, heartbreak and sex.

Several of Courtney’s songs have been featured on current hit TV shows. Three tracks off of Uncovered were featured on the third season of E! Televisions popular hit show, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, including “Accelerate” and “Dirty Angel”, a previous single, was featured on the Oxygen Channel’s fiery, over-the-top reality show, Bad Girls Club. Courtney’s writing chops are bar-none as she’s in talks with other networks about featuring more of her songs and she’s also talking to other labels about writing for some of their very well-known artists.

“Being a singer is in my blood”, says Jenaé. “I can’t go more than ten minutes without singing something… it comes as naturally to me as breathing. I didn’t choose singing, it chose me.”

Courtney’s love for singing began at age 15 when she started playing the guitar with a friend and sang for him. It was then that her friend realized she had an amazing voice and encouraged her to do something with it. Courtney enrolled in choir class at school to learn more about reading music and harmonization to truly hone her new found talent. Originally, from Orange County, CA she decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue her musical career after graduating from college with a certificate in vocal music. Shortly thereafter, Courtney signed with independent record label, Wondr Music and released her current EP – Uncovered, now available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify and Soundcloud.

Be on the lookout for Courtney Jenaé – the future looks very bright for this young rising star.
