96 Signs with Hotfoot Records, Caught In The Grips Set For a Winter 2012 Release

By on October 15, 2012

New Jersey hardcore outfit 96 is pleased to announce their signing with Hotfoot Records. The band, whose music has been described as having a “90s youth crew revival feel,” is set to release their Hotfoot Records debut Caught In The Grips later this year. With the announcement the band has released the lead single entitled “Dried Up” on Bandcamp and an album teaser on Vimeo
In a genre where loyalty and tradition mean everything, North Jersey’s Ninety Six (96) not only emulate those sentiments, but expands on them with a take on hardcore that seems to of been lost. Their music is laced with energetic, groove-laden riffs that pays homage to the way hardcore used to be done while staying original. Having already played with hardcore legends such as Sick of It All, Suicidal Tendencies and Cro-Mags, Ninety Six’s sound continues to grow and garnish praise from those who know the band best, their fans.
