British quintet The Dunwells will be bringing their exciting blend of melodic English rock and American roots music to Canada for five shows this Summer.

A force to be reckoned with on stage, this “must-see band” (NME) who bring to mind the vocal harmonies of a “British Fleet Foxes” have been winning fans with their amazing live performances all over the world.  Last year’s Lollapalooza was especially memorable. “With their set on the BMI stage cancelled, the band serenaded a group of fans on the Hilton’s lobby piano while the storm raged outside,” ( surviving “Lollageddon,” as they coined it.

Comprised of brothers Joseph Dunwell (vocals, guitar) and David Dunwell (guitar, piano, banjo) along with cousins Jonny Lamb (vocals, drums) and Rob Clayton (bass) and longtime best mate Dave Hanson (guitar, pedal steel), the young band emerged from the pubs and clubs of their hometown, Leeds, England.

The Dunwells’ debut album Blind Sighted Faith is on sale now.  Recorded at Willie Nelson’s Pedernales Studio outside of Austin with Grammy-winning producer and Roxy Music bassist John Porter (Bryan Ferry, The Smiths, Ryan Adams), the 11-track album features what fans have come to love the band for: stellar musicianship, classic roots songwriting and soaring harmony vocals.
