Originally from Clifton, VA, Jason now splits his time between Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN as a solo artist. Jason has opened for such great country acts as Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Gary Allan, Eric Church, Justin Moore, Big Kenny of Big and Rich, and Jerrod Niemann.
With that resume, some might be quick to confuse JASON CHARLES MILLER with a pop country pretty-boy. Think again. Miller is gritty country at its finest—dark and soulful with a bluesy, rock n’ roll-rooted punch. He’s co-written songs with musicians ranging between hard rock and metal genres, such as Ben Moody [Evanescence], Marilyn Manson, Jeordie White [Nine Inch Nails], Rev Theory and more. He’s produced songs for artists as varied as Bret Michaels, Psyclon 9, and YouTube sensation Drew Tabor.
Miller is also widely recognized as the frontman and founder of the rock band Godhead, the only band ever signed to Marilyn Manson’s Posthuman Records. The band has sold more than 250,000 albums and toured the world with the likes of Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Slipknot, Rammstein, Linkin Park and Korn frontman Jonathan Davis.
JASON CHARLES MILLER’s new album Natural Born Killer is his second full-length solo effort. Written and recorded in Nashville, the album was released by Render Records and was featured on the front page of iTunes for three weeks. It features performances by “Cowboy” Eddie Long [Jamey Johnson, Hank Williams Jr], Biff Watson [Keith Urban, Willie Nelson], Jim “Moose” Brown [Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton], Adam Shoenfeld [Big & Rich, Jason Aldean], Jerry McPherson [Tim McGraw, Faith Hill] and Mike Brignardello [Waylon Jennings]. His current single, ‘The Way You Still Want Me’, debuted as the #1 most added song on the NMW chart, and now resides in the TOP 10 and is quickly gaining momentum both there and on Music Row.
Miller has received two gold record awards for sales. One for co-writing and performing the Godhead song ‘Penetrate’ on the “Queen of the Damned” movie soundtrack, and the other for the song ‘The End Has Come’, which he wrote and performed with Evanescence founder Ben Moody for the movie “The Punisher”.
Songs written by JASON CHARLES MILLER can currently be heard on HBO’s “True Blood” and “Hung”, “WWE Friday Night Smackdown”, and the wildly popular web series “The Guild” (over 80 million views). Miller also penned the all-star collaboration ‘Forever In Our Hearts’, a song to benefit the victims of the 2004 tsunami in South Asia which included Brian McKnight, Mya, Jacoby Shaddix [Papa Roach], Nate Dogg and many more.
As an actor, JASON CHARLES MILLER has appeared in over 50 animated productions, dozens of video games and eight live action movies.
