Last week, actress Jessica Chastain stepped out in New York City flashing a smile alongside her “People Need Other People” phone case. Chastain, famous for her roles in the 2012 historical drama “Zero Dark Thirty” and in Dreamworks’ Academy Award-nominated adaptation of the best-selling Kathryn Stockett novel “The Help,” is a proud advocate of To Write Love on Her Arms. If you’d like to join her in supporting To Write Love on Her Arms, you can buy the phone case here:

Academy Award-nominated Chastain is one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actresses of her generation. Following her whirlwind year in 2011, in which she received several nominations and accolades for her work from the LA Film Critics, British Academy of Film and TV, Broadcast Film Critics, HFPA, Screen Actors Guild, and the Academy, Chastain’s success has proven to be limitless. In 2012, she was featured by TIME Magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World.” This fall, she will be seen in “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them”and and “Him” and “Her,” in addition to Chris Nolan’s anticipated film “Interstellar.”

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. Since its start in 2006, TWLOHA has donated more than $1.2 million directly into treatment and recovery and responded to more than 170,000 messages and emails from people in more than 100 countries.
National Suicide Prevention Week started yesterday, and TWLOHA is continuing to spread its “No One Else Can Play Your Part” message. Like Chastain, other high-profile celebrities including NBA player Ryan Anderson, United States Women’s National Soccer Team player Alex Morgan, and musicians Jana Kramer and Mat Kearney have recently show their support for the organization.
