Post-hardcore/Rock Texas based band Aerolyn are set to release their first full length album Revive. tomorrow December 18, 2013. Revive, produced by Geoff Rockwell (Forever The Sickest Kids, Crown The Empire) is what the band considers to be “signifying us finally sprouting from the ground with our newfound potential.” Featuring guest vocals on tracks from industry vets Jonny Craig (formerly of Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa) and Kellin Quinn (Sleeping with Sirens) the album really packs in the punches with melodic vocals, hard hitting drums, and creative breakdowns.

Since the release of Aerolyn’s EP Resilience in 2011, the band went through a time of changing band members and felt stagnant in music. Aerolyn reassembled in late 2012 and brought together a whole new lineup, promising to have the perfect punch that had been lacking previously, thus creating Revive. The first single off Revive entitled “Killer” is fast tempo and high energy tune. You can check out the Official Lyric Video for “Killer” http://bit.ly/1iQq0da

“We couldn’t be more excited to show people ‘Killer’ and there’s no doubt fans will really enjoy it just like we do! They will finally get a glimpse of what can be expected from Aerolyn and the debut full length album “Revive”.” – Aerolyn

Hailing from Dallas, Texas the five piece ensemble that makes up the band Aerolyn are as real as they get. Considering themselves a mix between post-hardcore and rock, the band has been out to make their mark on the scene by doing what they are passionate about; playing music. Most of the band grew up playing in local bands prior to becoming apart of Aerolyn and have known that music is what they wanted to make a career of for some time.

The bands name Aerolyn is both a male or female name with the meanings “with hope” and “with music.” Found in a baby book by guitarist Chris, the name’s meanings were an obvious immediate fit. As a band, Aerolyn gathers influences from a variety of bands such as As Cities Burn, Paramore, Underoath, Anberlin, and more, but focuses on writing music that sounds natural to them.
