Xander Ghost

Born and raised in Egypt, at age 16 Xander Ghost relocated to London where he started making music not long after. He describes his approach as “unconventional” due to a “distinct lack of formal music training”.

Idiosyncratic yet instantly emotive, Xander’s lucid writing style oozes freedom.

On ‘The Same’ Xander showcases his futurist R&B sound in atmospheric style; electronic beats, soulful vocal croons and powerfully tender synth lines threaded together with intense melodic pressure.

The inspiration for Xander’s music runs deep across the arts. He cites cinematic masterpieces (Drive), oddball TV (Black Mirror) and forward-thinking singer/songwriters/producers (Imogen Heap, M.I.A, Kanye West) as key references for his brand of Alt R&B.
