After being voted “2012’s Big Breakthrough” by the Swedish Music Industry, the young vocalist & classically trained pianist released her released her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, Amanda Mair (produced by Philip Ekström of The Mary Onettes and featuring songs by Johan Angerard of Club 8) on Sweden’s Labrador Records in America June 2012. The album debuted at #16 on the Swedish Charts and saw the young artist receive international acclaim and tour live in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, India, Portugal, China, and of course Scandinavia.
Mair has only appeared live in the United States once before, at an intimate solo acoustic pre-release showcase in NYC last April. The 2013 dates will be played as a duo – featuring Amanda on piano accompanied by a percussionist/multi-instrumentalist.
