Recorded by Christopher Compton at Broadscope Studio in Richmond, Blizzard Of ’96 is about the parts of life that are somehow simultaneously personal and universal, like four kids in four places experiencing the same snow storm in different ways,” says vocalist/bassist James Goodson, “It’s about the constant challenge of figuring out what kind of person you are, as well as what kind of person you want to be, and that maybe the experiences that lead to those realizations are more important than the realizations themselves. It’s about trying to avoid adulthood. It’s about how growing up never really stops. Most of all Blizzard Of ’96 is about getting through the worst moments, and making sure to really appreciate the best.”
