APART – On Tour

By on January 10, 2013

South Carolina’s Apart is heading out for a short Winter tour in support of the band’s debut LP, Gray Light, released in June 2012 on Mayfly Records (Pianos Become The Teeth, Code Orange Kids). Tour starts tomorrow (1/11) in Charlotte, NC at The Milestone. The tour includes four dates with New Bedford, MA’s Raindance.

You can check out a video for “Blindfolds” from Gray Light on Alternative Press. Gray Light vinyl is available here.

Apart recently digitally released a brand new 2-song single, Love Is Not Enough, in September. You can get that here. Also, the band is offering just about their entire discography digitally for only $4 here.

Apart is a hardcore band in the vein of bands like Modern Life is War and Life Long Tragedy. The band’s debut LP, Gray Light, is eight songs of emotional hardcore at it’s finest. Apart also draw influence from the 90′s screamo movement and bands such as Orchid. What separates Apart from the rest of the pack is a strong influence from the more lyrically driven bands of the early 2000′s like American Nightmare, Panic, and Carry On.
