Renowned Toronto music company Arts & Crafts today announced the release of a definitive retrospective album, Arts & Crafts: 2003-2013, in conjunction with ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations, available worldwide Tuesday, April 16.
Arts & Crafts: 2003-2013 is a deluxe package curated from a decade of releases, including some of the label’s most recognizable songs, as well as never before heard rarities. This commemorative release will be available as a 4xLP special edition boxed set on translucent vinyl, as a deluxe double CD and in all digital formats. Physical copies are complete with a 24-page colour booklet including liner notes written by Stuart Berman, noted journalist and author of Broken Social Scene biography This Book Is Broken.

This must-have release represents the latest announcement in AC10, Arts & Crafts’ ongoing series of events, releases and collaborations in music, fashion, photography and literature intended to highlight the label’s decade of creativity and community.
First to be unveiled was the Field Trip Music & Arts Festival, to be held in Toronto on Saturday, June 8 at Fort York and Garrison Common.
The inaugural one-day event will feature two stages curated entirely from Arts & Crafts’ diverse artist roster, co-headlined by a one-night-only return from hiatus for flagship collective Broken Social Scene and 11-time JUNO Award and 2012 Polaris Music Prize winner Feist alongside performances by Stars, Bloc Party, Hayden, Timber Timbre and many more. An entirely original collection of collaborative recordings by artist pairings from the Arts & Crafts roster, including new compositions and fresh, unexpected interpretations.
A&C x Norman Wong
A special photography exhibit by Toronto-based fashion and celebrity photographer Norman Wong. A longtime friend of Arts & Crafts, Norman has had a unique opportunity to document and work with a range of A&C artists. Norman will be exhibiting an iconic black and white portrait series featuring prominent members of the Arts & Crafts roster, as well as a photographic A&C retrospective.
A&C x Jeremy Laing // Fashion Collaborations
Prominent Canadian designer Jeremy Laing will team up with contemporary Canadian visual artists and select musicians from the A&C roster to create a unique series with all proceeds donated to AC10 charity MusiCounts. MusiCounts is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all Canadian children have access to music education.
A&C x House of Anansi // You Forgot It In People // Short Fiction Contest
Famed Canadian publisher House of Anansi Press partners with A&C to host a short fiction contest inspired by the tracks of Broken Social Scene’s You Forgot It In People. The contest is open now, visit houseofanansi.com for details.
A&C x Gallery Exhibition x Pop Up
Arts & Crafts will host up a pop-up shop/gallery exhibition from late May through mid June. The to-be-announced location will serve as headquarters for all things AC10 and Field Trip.
