In the heart of Caesars Atlantic City, DUSK Nightclub, a once joint venture with the legendary DJ AM and DUSK Management Group, has remained a staple in the nightlife industry of the ever-growing Atlantic City market and beyond. Now, four years after its initial launch, the award-winning DUSK adds its newest weekly residency — focused on the electronic music genre and aptly named Empire Thursdays — to its lineup which launched last Thursday with special guests Mysto & Pizzi and Modern Machines.

“We are very excited to be partnering up with the world class venue Dusk nightclub in Atlantic City, to bring a fresh new concept Empire Thursdays.  In a time when the costs for events are skyrocketing, we decided to deliver a series of exciting events that will be reasonably priced, while focusing on the next generation of up and coming EDM talent. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!” – Bryan Dilworth

DUSK, an 800-person-capacity dance club with a state of the art Funktion One sound system, originally opened in 2009 through the vision and musical direction of Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, a co-partner of the venue and a prominent celebrity voice in the nightlife industry whose spirit continues to live on even after his untimely passing. While DUSK’s three-day a week club nights earned the venue several awards, including one of the Top 100 venues by Bar and Nightclub Magazine and “Best Place to Spot a Celebrity,” the newly revamped Thursday nights at DUSK will offer both avid music fans and the hardest-working VP’s who are thirsty for the weekends a more intimate spot where they can lose themselves in music, witness top tier up-and-coming acts and dance ‘til dawn before the weekend even truly begins.

“We hope that by adding a refreshing night and a slew of emerging talent to DUSK’s already reputable lineup we will be able to offer the true nightclub experience in its entirety, without our guests having to shuffle around thousands of people, taking away from their overall experience,” said DUSK Management Group President Eric Milstein. “We really want Empire Thursdays to be all about the music and its ever growing roster of talent that continues to filter through to our beloved Atlantic City.”

With the launch of Empire Thursdays beginning on June 6th, DUSK welcomed its new resident DJ summer lineup, kicking off with Mysto & Pizzi, with support from Modern Machines. The rest of DUSK’s rotating Empire Thursdays lineup includes resident DJs The Disco Fries, MAKJ with support from The Jane Doze, and Ookay who are co-headlining with Gent & Jawns. This Thursday, June 13th, The Disco Fries hold down the residency.

ABOUT DUSK:

Over the past few years, while dance music in the U.S. has just about burst, Atlantic City continues to become a prime spot for DJs to travel to worldwide, from the Aviciis and Tiestos at massive venues, to the more freshmen class acts at subtle but mind-blowing environments like DUSK. Aside from its soft hues that make the club resemble an underwater play place; DUSK’s sound system is unparalleled to venues of its size and caliber. The Funktion One sound system, featuring 65 individual drivers fueled by over 100,000 watts of power, grants DJs flexibility in their performances thanks to a wireless system control and a DJ booth filled with custom processing units. Additional features such as the DJ booth’s entire club view and elevated stages throughout the venue make both the artist and guest experience at DUSK a true first-class hidden gem.
