Atom Smash Hits the Road in Support of New Album “Beautiful Alien”

By on May 2, 2012

How does a Rock act reach the billboard Top 40 “POP”  indicator charts without management or a record label?  Let’s direct our attention to a Miami FL garage.
A Rock Band in its true form is a fading thing. The genre has seen better years and there’s no denying it.  Bodies pile up in dance clubs while rockers glam up their wardrobe for their piece of the dwindling record sales. Producers package ear candy so parents will do the purchasing while kids do the the ripping. The
The new Atom Smash is in every sense Rock ‘n’ Roll. “Beautiful Alien” hit the streets on March 20th. The process didn’t take place in a studio nor a candle lit songwriting pad.  Who would have thought a South Florida Garage was an obvious recording hub for a struggling “Garage Band”. The bands previous effort on Jive records  “Love is in the Missile” housed a #1 Sirius Radio single and Top 20 Rock single  “Do Her Wrong”.  All the groups early success was no match for the politics of  a major label.  Jive released the rising rock act in 2011. This inspired reconstruction of something, well, different. A majority of the new sound was engineered, produced and mixed by the band itself. The guys did call on the expertise of producer Paul Trust for three songs including the first single “The World is Ours” is a gritty power pop track that is climbing the Pop charts currently at the #38 position. The track is dedicated to rising population of uninspired teens on the verge of suicide. The single is driving home subject matter that goes deeper than the bubble gum club bangers of today.  The “Alien” also includes a rendition of Seal’s masterpiece “Kiss From A Rose”. The title track “Beautiful Alien” sums up the swirl of western & oceanic vibes that surround the album. The “Smash” are no strangers to their fans. They strongly urge smashers to add their personal facebooks (,
