Audiotree Live releases new in-studio session from The Story Changes

By on October 14, 2013

Audiotree Live have posted up the full 28 minute in-studio session and interview with Dayton, Ohio rocker’s The Story Changes during their stop through Chicago last month.  The band is supporting their first full-length release in over 4 years with Static And Trembling, bringing all new songs with their performance to watch during this session.

Mark and Poppy are a musical duo that have been in the business for well over ten years. The evolution of their catchy sound is evidence of these veterans’ journey as part of an ever-changing industry. High energy punk undertones with eloquently expressive lyrics combine to produce dynamic, powerful tunes.

In the studio, they gave us insight into the reasons behind their strong DIY mentality, their new record, and how they will continue to build The Story Changes for years to come. They spoke of the ups and downs of touring, and confessed their mutual obsessive love of Star Wars films. They performed several new songs, including “Wake The World,” a heartfelt tribute to their close friend Nick. Their most recent album, “Static and Trembling,” is a highly refreshing blend of their personalized, modern sound with a 90′s alt rock edge.
