Daniel MarchSydney based musician and songwriter Daniel March releases first single in 2 years – Nina.
Meaning “mighty” in Native American, and “girl” in Spanish, the folk inspired, yet soulful track spins the ever relevant, age-old story of finding the love of your life.

Inspired by Raphael Saadiq, D’Angelo, and in brief moments Eric Clapton, March draws upon his biggest influences to create a song which truly connects with the listener emotionally. The simple yet catchy songwriting, warm guitar tone, flirtatious yet tasteful bass notes, and beautiful harmony towards the end all lend itself to a track that leaves you singing along.

“The synopsis of Nina is capturing the very essence of appreciating every single detail of one particular woman. And how finding her makes all things unclear disappear“.

With plans to move to London in June, Match will make a re-debut in the music world outside of Australia, and pursue his career further.

Nina the first of a series of single releases, and is available to buy as both a slower live version, and a studio version on Bandcamp

Daniel March is one of those rare artists that have a transcendent quality and ability in every element of their music. A songwriter and self taught multi-instrumentalist, March draws inspiration from artists such as Michael Jackson, Tupac, prolific R&B producer Babyface and indie-folk musician Ben Harper.

With songs that intertwine words and melodies into a beautifully textured and intricate fabric, March’s poetic sensitivity, mixed with his genre blending folk and soul infused music, displays a unique talent, which led to him recording his first full length album, Love Castle Dreams, in Atlanta, Georgia USA.

The album, which showcases 9 original songs, features a stellar role call of musicians including vocalist Chantae Cann (known for her work with GRAMMY winners and nominees India.Arie, Snarky Puppy, The Foreign Exchange), musician Khari Cabral Simmons (Donnie, India.Arie), Landon Anderson (Anthony David, Frank McComb, Fabolous), Daz-I-Kue (Bugz in the Attic), Nick Rosen and Julie Dexter. ‘Love Castle Dreams” is now offline, with a few tracks being re-worked
