The Jungle Giants

Since their inception in 2011, Jungle Giants have made one hell of a riot, and that goodwill and early promise has only increased tenfold. Building on the critical and grassroots fanbase of two stunning EPs, Jungle Giants took a major leap forward with their dynamic 2012 LP Learn To Exist, and began to take their first steps out of their Australian homeland and onto the world stage. Now, the Brisbane childhood friends have their sights set on winning over America with their aptly titled new EP She’s a Riot.

Filled with crashing choruses, catchy hooks, and emotion. All in their early twenties, lead singer Sam Hales and company splash their unique brand of power pop onto a broader canvas with She’s a Riot, capturing the essence of Jungle Giants, while expanding into deeper territory. From the start a fearlessly autobiographical songwriter, Hales explores universal themes of love, live, adventure and loss. Lead single, “She’s a Riot,” confronts love and loss with ultra rhythmic percussive lines, harmonies and pop hooks. “She’s A Riot” is about being lost in the moment of all-consuming, blinding love, and the band translates the giddy, whirlwind experience of falling head over heels effortlessly.

The EP flirts with the initial dance of courtship, reflecting on friendships and blossoming relationships, “Don’t Know What Else To Do” tells of the cat and mouse game at the beginning of every relationship, and charts the early chemistry into something that just might be true love. As in life, nothing in love is certain, but She’s a Riot is content to bask in a moment of true bliss.

The Jungle Giants (Sam Hales, Cesira Aitken, Keelan Bijker and Andrew Dooris) have forged a strong name for themselves as an incredible live band with their frenetic shows, gracing the stage of Australia’s biggest festivals and touring extensively upon an ever- increasing fan base, while undertaking countless national tours (including a series of plum supports, coveted festival spots and their own sell-out shows). She’s a Riot is Jungle Giants’ invitation to the world, an EP that will effortlessly keep you coming back for more.

She’s A Riot is available digitally now via Amplifire.
