“I think that it’s human nature to want to help those in need,” says Anthony Raneri of Hopeless recording artists BAYSIDE. “We are lucky enough to have a platform that we can use to help.” It is with this platform that Bayside are happy to join forces with Equality Rocks and Human Rights Campaign (, America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality, and present the “Bayside Pride” t-shirt. A portion of the profits garnered from the sales of these t-shirts will be donated to HRC to aid in their fight to attain equality.

“Bayside is not only adding their unique punk rock voice but contributing directly to our fight for full LGBT equality through the sale of their special-edition rainbow pride t-shirt,” said Cassidy Karakorn, Deputy Director for Consumer Marketing. “We’re thrilled that Bayside is standing with us and a majority of Americans who support marriage equality.”

Currently wrapping up their headlining slot on the 2014 Vans Warped Tour, the band are supporting the release of their sixth album, CULT, their proudest record to date, which Raneri says is “really our opus. We labored over this record more than ever before.”

Formed in 2000 in Queens, NY, Bayside has previously released five studio albums (2004’s Sirens and Condolences, 2005’s Bayside, 2007’s The Walking Wounded, 2008’s Shudder, 2011’s Killing Time) and numerous EPs and a live album (2008’s Live at the Bayside Social Club). They band has toured the world and played on multiple Vans Warped Tours. With the release of CULT, the breadth of their history seems to have culminated in this sixth studio album.

“Our brand of music has always spoken to the kids who are lost or haven’t found themselves yet,” Raneri concludes. “Working with the Human Rights Campaign gives us the opportunity to not only support the people who have always supported us but to help the faces that we see at our shows everyday.”
