Philadelphia’s Belgrade is set to release their debut Self-Titled full-length next month. The band features current and former members of bands such as Restorations, Metroplex, Ink & Dagger, The Progress, Brass and more. Vinyl pre-orders and the digital release are set for April ahead of a record release show, April 26th at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia.
You can check out the exclusive premiere for “Protest” from the Self-Titled LP on Absolute Punk now.
You can also listen to an early version of “Venice On A Map” on Bandcamp. A new recording of the song will appear on the upcoming Self-Titled album.
Liquid-like ins & outs, Belgrade dare themselves a slap in the face with the glove of simplicity. A subversively straightforward reverb-fest. Cloaking pop smarts under blankets of echoes bounced off last night’s full moon, still ringing in the squinty-eyed hangover morning. Shimmer and swoon forward and back like a chorus for the night, to consume by day. Anthems for your cloudy nocturnal courage.
Artwork and tracklisting for the Self-Titled LP will be released soon. Also stay tuned for pressing / pre-order info, new song streams, as well as plenty more news from Belgrade!
