BELGRADE – Song Premiere on Alternative Press

By on April 13, 2013

Philadelphia’s Belgrade is set to release their debut Self-Titled later this month. The band features current and former members of bands such as Restorations, Metroplex, Ink & Dagger, The Progress, Brass and more. Digital release is set for April 16th ahead of the band’s record release show, April 26th at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia. The band will also be playing with The Appleseed Cast at First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia on April 14th.

“Consolation Prize” from the Self-Titled LP is now streaming exclusively on Alternative Press. You can also check out “Protest” on Absolute Punk.

Liquid-like ins & outs, Belgrade dare themselves a slap in the face with the glove of simplicity. A subversively straightforward reverb-fest. Cloaking pop smarts under blankets of echoes bounced off last night’s full moon, still ringing in the squinty-eyed hangover morning. Shimmer and swoon forward and back like a chorus for the night, to consume by day. Anthems for your cloudy nocturnal courage.
