BETS releases sultry video for ‘I Love You, But’

Indie crooner, BETS, is proud to announce her latest contribution to the indie pop rock world, her dreamy video for “I Love You, But” which gives John & Yoko’s “bed-in” idea a sweet retro spin.

The entire video was shot without the couple leaving the bed.  In BETS’s own words, “the video captures the tug of war of being entangled with a new lover.”  Whimsical animations perfectly frame the lilting chorus.  The song itself is a rhythmic romp through the complicated topic of romantic love and is produced by Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray of the famed LA indie rock band Earlimart.

The track is taken from her debut EP, released at the start of the year and available to stream on soundcloud here

BETS’s sound encapsulates elements of musicians such as Lay Low, Feist, El Perro del Mar and Saint Vincent.  BETS worked with Espinoza and Murray who helped her produce the album.  Recording took place at The Ship studios in Eagle Rock, a haven of everything nautical, where Betsy feels “right at home” despite having no association to the sea!

The video is free for re-posting and the beautiful BETS is always available for interviews.
