Big B kicks off the touring cycle for his new album Fool’s Gold today. The Cabin by the Sea tour, featuring Big B along with Dirty Heads and The Expendables, kicks off in Austin, TX.

Big B won’t have any downtime this summer, as he has just been added to Redlight King’s upcoming “Ones To Watch” Tour with Icon For Hire throughout August. Fool’s Gold hits stores July 9th via Suburban Noize. The album is currently available for pre-order.

“It’s cool to see momentum building for my new album and have it open up new doors for me as an artist. I’m working with a full band now and writing songs instead of just writing rhymes. I pride myself on that and the fact that I’ve evolved over the past couple of albums into a songwriter,” said Big B. “I’m excited to get out on the road and share the stage with a couple great bands in Redlight King and Icon For Hire, and to have an opportunity to perform in front of new faces every night.”

Fool’s Gold features musical collaborations with Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, country superstar Colt Ford and pop icon P!nk. The end result is a collection of songs that are just as contagious as Big B’s thuggish charm. With the entire music industry focused on finding the next huge star on reality television, Big B has taken a back-to-basics approach on Fool’s Gold and filled it with fun spirited songs that can fit into any music lover’s playlist. The album is rich is musical diversity and is cleverly inventive, as Big B seamlessly bridges the gap between rock, hip-hop, and alternative.
