Bonnaroo and Xbox announce partnership with new application

Starting tomorrow, you can experience the magic of the 13th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival from the comfort of your own home via the Bonnaroo app available on Xbox One and Xbox 360. In partnership with Bonnaroo co-producer Superfly Presents, Xbox is the exclusive internet and mobile broadcasting partner for Bonnaroo – home to the first and only interactive destination for Bonnaroo. While the application is available to download on your Xbox tomorrow, the live stream will start on Friday, June 13th at 1:30 p.m. PST.

This app puts you right in the middle of the Bonnaroo action and lets you choose what performances you see, notifies you of major events taking place, gives you back stage access, brings together exciting acts from the past and favorite performances from this year, and much more. The exciting interactive features that are available on the Bonnaroo for Xbox app include:

 

Watch Live. With the Bonnaroo app, fans can enjoy live music like never before, with a virtual experience featuring the best performances and biggest artists from all five stages, throughout the entire weekend. Plus, check out the exclusive Hay Bale Sessions for more intimate performances from some of the amazing artists at the festival.

 

My Bonnaroo. Personalize your Bonnaroo experience so you never miss a performance from your favorite artists. Mark your must-see performances on the lineup and Xbox will send you in-app notification to watch the performances live. Explore the Bonnaroo destination and learn about the artists without ever leaving the live streams. You can also check out the Xbox event feed to see what your friends have added to their event lineups, learn Bonnaroo facts, earn Achievements, and more.

 

The Bonnaroo Experience. The Bonnaroo experience offers an intimate lens into the Bonnaroo community, bound together by music. Check out the faces of Bonnaroo, see what’s happening at the iconic Bonnaroo fountain, and more.

 

Backstage Exclusives. Enjoy access like never before. Only available to viewers at home, watch backstage interviews and activities with Bonnaroo performers throughout the festival and see artists answer selected fan questions via Skype.
