The band has been hard at work in the studio with producer Ian Kirkpatrick (Plain White T’s, Neon Trees, The Summer Set, Young The Giant), putting the finishing touches on new album Savages, expected for release in early 2014 with Fearless Records.

BREATHE CAROLINA is David Schmitt (vocals/guitar) and Kyle Even (vocals). The Denver based duo is known for genre mashing – superimposing guttural screams against a backdrop of house-infused electronic and hip hop influences. Now with their fourth full-length studio album, Savages, the band plans to out-sell 2011’s successful Hell Is What You Make It, which hit #42 on the Billboard Top 200 and #2 on the electronic charts. The band skyrocketed to mainstream attention with their platinum selling 2012 single entitled “Blackout,” which hit the top 15 on Top 40 radio, and their seductively addictive music video for single “Hit and Run” which has received over 1.4 million YouTube views.

The band’s pulse-pounding beats have landed placements on MTV Hills and The City, NBC’s The Tonight Show, 30 Rock, and Monday Night Football, and have garnered press from noteworthy outlets such as MTV, USA Today, New York Times,, Alternative Press, and a performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. With a full slate of dates this summer, a heavily marketed free mixtape download from SOL Republic Headphones, a direct support slot on the fall U.S. Sleeping With Sirens tour and their strongest record right around the corner — the band is poised to launch into 2014 bigger and better than ever. The story is only just being written..
