Bruce Cockburn wins at Canadian Folk Music Awards

Folk legend Bruce Cockburn was one of the big winners at Sunday, 12/4’s
2011 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Cockburn, won two awards at the ceremony, which was held at Toronto’s
Isabel Bader Theatre after a weekend of nominee showcases and special
events across the city. The Ottawa-born musician’s latest disc scored
Traditional Album of the year as well as Solo Artist of the year. Bruce
released his 31st studio album, Small Source of Comfort, this past March.

The Canadian Folk Awards were created in 2005, and handed out 19 awards
