By on August 10, 2013

The summer of 2013 has been be a busy one for the up-and-coming bass producer, Buku. Following the release of his latest album, Fooled on Pilot Records, he unleashes two additional tracks called “Bury Dem” and “That Thang” exclusively through ClubTapes.com, the electronic division of LiveMixTapes.com.

In case you haven’t seen it already, the hilarious fan-made video for his recent single “Booty Clapasaurus” has been causing quite the stirrup after it premiered on VIBE and was featured on Funny or Die. On top of his recent productions, Buku is also traveling to play festivals and gigs nationwide. This weekend he’ll be dropping back-to-back bass beats on the East Coast.

Starting Friday night, Buku heads home to Pittsburgh to headline the Rex Theater for “Light Up The Trap,” following with a stop in New York City to play Webster Hall’s BASSment Saturdays, ending the weekend with a bang out at Farm Fest Music in Vernon, New Jersey.

If you’re in the area on Saturday night, we’d would love for you to join us at Webster Hall where Buku will be playing with BASSment Saturday’s resident DJ, Subset. Subset explains his excitment for the evening by stating, “Buku is my biggest inspiration, my favorite producer, and one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. I’ve been Team Buku since the day I first heard ‘Janky’, and I’ll be a hardcore supporter for life. New York City is awaiting Buku with open arms, and we’re all excited for his return to the BASSment Saturdays stage this weekend!”
