San Diego, California rock group Spero will release their new EP Pride on November 11, 2014. The band recently premiered the first single from the EP, “Can’t Get More,” exclusively on

Spero’s brand of rock, folk, and blues has won over fans and critics alike, earning them a reputation as one of Southern California’s hottest new acts. The band has toured extensively on the West Coast and has played at major industry events such as SXSW and San Diego Music Thing. Pride was written as a testament to the benefits of hard work and non-stop perseverance, and follows up their 2013 debut Rational Paths.

“With our new EP Pride we were trying to bring in some classic sounds and messages. Based around the support of working hard and taking pride in yourself, we were trying to use our bluesy riffs and classic rock and roll feel to really bring the songs back in time while still pulling influences from modern artists and ideas as well. We hope Pride’s wide variety of style reaches out to anyone who is a fan of raw, passionate blues, folk and rock and roll.”  Hillary Laughery – Piano/Vocals
