Powerful, intimate and resonating, Cape Cod’s pop-punk duo Beautiful Tuesday are taking their music to the next level with the release of their new single “The Crown.” Displaying a shift in their sound and writing alike, the song represents a transition from their acoustic duo roots to a full-band sound. Beautiful Tuesday stays true to their origins while refining their raw, fresh energy to captivate audiences.

“The Crown quickly became a fan favorite, as well as one of our favorites to perform,” said lead vocalist Theresa Andrewski. “The emotions are honest and unadulterated. It’s a confession, a plea, and a demand; all at once.” Looking to transfer the same energy to the studio, they sought the help of Chris Piquette (of Trophy Wives) at No Boundaries Studios to record the single. “It was brought to life,” said guitarist and vocalist Matt Almquist, “we gained a whole new appreciation.”
An earlier rendition of the song was featured this past summer on the “Rhode Island / Southern Massachusetts 2014 Compilation” distributed at The Vans Warped Tour by SelfMade Co. Gaining a well-respected name in the local music scene, the band connects with fans like no other. “The Crown is filled with so much raw emotion, it almost feels different every time we perform it on stage. You can expect Theresa to zero in on someone as her scapegoat,” laughed Almquist. “Some people try to laugh it off, some try to run away, and some are just captivated and frozen in the moment. Kidding aside, it really allows us to connect with the audience in a cool way.”
Luring their audience in with intimate lyrical persuasion, Theresa Andrewski and Matt Almquist of Beautiful Tuesday take listeners on an emotional, dynamic roller coaster. Hailing from Cape Cod, MA, the two have been captivating crowds as a powerhouse duo since 2012. Having swooned their fans as an acoustic act for two and a half years, Beautiful Tuesday is kicking it up a notch, and beginning a new chapter, with a full band experience well on the way. With tours being planned and an all-new EP being recorded in the spring, 2015 is already shaping up to be a huge year for this group.
