UK artist Chad Valley aka Hugo Manuel has debuted a new video for the first single “Now That I’m Real (How Does It Feel?)” off his anticipated EP, Equatorial Ultravox, which will be released June 21 on experimental pop label, Cascine. The video was directed by Lucy Bridger, and can be viewed at Pitchfork orVimeo. San Francisco lo-fi musician Courtship has also taken on remixing “Now That I’m Real,” offering a stretched out, even more atmospheric version of the song highlighting South London-based artist and musician Rose Dagul‘s delicate response vocals. 

Hugo Manuel operates as frontman for Oxford, UK-based quintet Jonquil, and is a founding member of theBlessing Force collective.
 Following Cascine’s release of his self titled debut EP last fall, there was a point where Chad Valley was the fourth most blogged about artist on earth, having the opportunity to perform in Dublin, Amsterdam, Paris, Budapest, Belgrade and Istanbul, and supporting acts including AmiinaTwin Shadow and Foals
