CHEAP GIRLS EXTEND SPRING U.S. HEADLINE TOUR
DATES TO INCLUDE THE MENZINGERS AND THE SIDEKICKS THROUGHOUT APRIL
BAND PREMIERES NEW SONG, “MERCY-GO-‘ROUND,” VIA SPINNER
NEW ALBUM, GIANT ORANGE, NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER ON ITUNES; IN STORES AND ONLINE VIA RISE RECORDS ON FEBRUARY 21
Cheap Girls have announced additional dates on their upcoming Spring headline tour of the U.S. Beginning on Thursday, March 1, in Cleveland, OH, at the Grog Shop, the tour, which will also feature The Sidekicks on the entire run as well as The Menzingers after March 24, will take in nights at notable venues across the U.S. such as Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ, on Sunday, March 4, Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY, on Tuesday, March 6, and the Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA, on Monday, April 2. The tour will also include a stop at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, during March and culminate in a performance at The Atlantic in Gainesville, FL, on Friday, April 13.
Described as a “true beast that’s loud as hell” by Aol. Music, “Mercy-Go-‘Round” is another track Cheap Girls have released from Giant Orange, an album Spinner mentions as “featuring everything missing in rock ‘n’ roll today: Super heavy crunch, fuzzed-out lead lines and singable melodies.” Check out an exclusive stream of “Mercy-Go-‘Round” over at Spinner HERE.

Produced by Tom Gabel of Against Me! at the newly built Total Treble Studio just outside of St. Augustine, FL, Giant Orange, Cheap Girls’ new album, will be available in stores and online on Tuesday, February 21, through Rise Records. As the band’s third full-length release, Giant Orange marks the follow-up to the band’s highly regarded 2009 LP, My Roaring 20s, and is another big showcase of the band’s endearing guitar-rock that gloriously drips in ’90s nostalgia. Giant Orange is now available for pre-order via iTunes HERE.
