Cheatahs Debut Album ‘Extended Plays’ Out Tomorrow; Watch Video for “Coared” Now; Band Announces Dates with FIDLAR and Wavves

By on February 5, 2013

UK-based rock band Cheatahs are excited to release their debut album Extended Plays, out tomorrow on Wichita Recordings. The release includes 8 tracks compiled from the band’s two EPs released in the UK last year, Coared and SANS. You can stream the SANS EP at Noisey by clicking HERE.

The band have also revealed the music video to their song “Coared” from the album and EP of the same name. The video highlights the relaxed melodies of Canadian-born lead singer Nathan Hewitt, and the band’s fuzzed-out 90s-style shoegaze atmosphere. As NME notes of the band, “Melody’s the key, but they back it up with some of the best riffage we’ve heard from a Brit band in a while.” Watch the video at the link below:

Cheatahs are also excited to announce Spring tour dates with FIDLAR and Wavves. The tour begins on March 17 at the Prophet Bar in Dallas, before the band heads East to play major markets like Brooklyn’s Glasslands on April 11. The tour will end on April 20 in Phoenix, AZ.
