A bright spark is building outside the windy city, this gathering explosion could best be referred to as small town rockers The Projection. A young, fierce and definitely contagious pop punk outfit cutting through the noise just outside Chicago. After going through trials and tribulations as a younger band, front man Jacques LaMore is setting out with a true DIY spirit to brand his name in music and first things first, conquer the Midwest.

Releasing their debut LP ‘Thanks For Caring’ in ’08, The Projection charged on using a true guerilla style of promotion and found themselves sharing the stage with a multitude of national bands including There For Tomorrow, Ivoryline, Thieves and Villains and a lengthy list of others. Proving themselves with the release of their daring debut the guys landed a spot on the Vans Warped Tour playing the Kevin Says Stage. This opportunity gave Jacques and Co. a taste of the crazy life, transposing them into rock n roll addicts. Stepping up their game, the crew has set out to create their own brand of blistering fun punk music.

Currently, The Projection have teamed up with acclaimed producer Enoch Jensen (The Used, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) at East Lake Recording Studios crafting their sophomore LP, tentatively titled ‘While You Were Out’. “The new record should reflect how serious the band is about our music” explains excited LaMore. This excitement is seemingly noted from the soon to be released single ‘Trying To Forget’ a melting hot summer track. Incorporating heavy-driving guitars, thick charging drum n bass and feel good synths, layered perfectly within confident and anthemic vocals that bring you back to the glory days of pop punk.

‘While You Were Out’ is surely the perfect album to roll your windows down and scream your lungs out all the way to your local Warped date. Fun and awesome pop punk, it’s about freaking time.

Jacques LaMore: Lead Vocals/Guitar
