Chrome Canyon (aka Morgan Z, Apes & Androids former keyboardist) has debuted a new EP entitled Body Language with French label On The Fruit Records. Featuring remixes by Douze, Heroismo, Melee, and Stavarsky, the EP is now available at Itunes, Beatport, and Spotify among others, and will be followed by his debut full-length, Elemental Themes, due later this year. Chrome Canyon has also released a new video for his cosmic single “Computers of Love,” cleverly taking footage from 1992’s movie The Lawnmower Man.

Chrome Canyon has been praised for his fantastic cover of Kate Bush’s ‘Suspended in Gaffa‘ and remixes for St. Lucia, Erika Spring, Anoraak, Phoenix, and Passion Pit. His official Foster the People “Pumped Up Kicks (Chrome Canyon remix)” was in the top 20 of RCRD LBL’s most downloaded tracks of 2011. Following Apes & Android’s 2009 breakup, Morgan Z began his own recording studio in Brooklyn, where he started collecting vintage synthesizers. His forthcoming Elemental Themes LP is a pastiche of Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Giorgio Moroder and Pink Floyd in an epic soundtrack fashion, and was one of the very last records mastered by the late Nilesh Patel of The Exchange.
