Cornish hardcore band Vales to release Wilt and Rise’ Feb.18 on Fist In The Air Records/6131 Records

Formed during the month of March 2011 in Cornwall, England, VALES (formerly known as Veils) are a fierce foursome that have proven their musical prowess.  Their unique sound teeters between angst-filled screamo and aggressive hardcore, all the while conveying a deep passion for what they are creating.

Many bands would have been content with two impressive releases under their belts in their first year, but VALES insisted on taking their music on the road, playing endless shows throughout the UK and Europe. Including runs alongside Goodtime Boys (Bridge Nine Records) and Suis La Lune (Topshelf Records), as well as a Maida Vale session and a massive tour across the States.

This March sees them release their highly anticipated album ‘Wilt and Rise’, through Fist in the Air Records (physical) and 6131 Records (digital).  Recorded in Los Angeles, Ben said of the record “Wilt & Rise is an anthology of the time the band has had together. The album is greater than the sum of its parts, with each track acting as it’s own excerpt.” It’ll be released on the 18th February (digital) and 30th March (physical).
