Cradle of Filth guitarist Paul Allender chats with Skype ‘Play Blog’ about online guitar lessons

By on March 27, 2013

Paul Allender, lead guitarist for acclaimed British heavy metal act, Cradle of Filth, recently spoke to Skype’s ‘Play Blog’ about his online guitar lessons with fans, Skype writing collaborations with Cradle of Filth drummer, Martin Skaroupka, and more.

“The fan reactions have been really good,” Allender told ‘Play Blog.’ “I’ve used Skype to teach guitar, help people arrange their own songs, do group jam sessions. They’ll file share their songs, then I’ll help them rearrange them, break them down by each piece. It gives their songs a real injection of life – if they don’t know what direction to take them, I’ll help…It helps keep the fans really involved, and breaks down that previously ‘untouchable’ barrier between bands and their fans.”
