Detroit indie-pop duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will kick off a headlining national tour in May behind their anticipated full-length debut, It’s A Corporate World, set for a June 7 release through Quite Scientific Records. The band has offered the first single off the album, “Morning Thought” for free download in exchange for an email address on the band’s website. Before touring with Tapes ‘N Tapes and playing several well-receivedSXSW ’11 sets in March (Check out a live version of “Vocal Chords” at the Pasteparty), the band had the opportunity to stop by KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic for a live session.
