LA’s hard-rocking Deap Vally announce today the worldwide premiere of their video “Lies” off of their debut- 4 song EP Get Deap to be released in North America on April 9 through Cherrytree/Communion/Interscope/Island Records. The EP was produced by Lars Stalfors (The Mars Volta, Matt and Kim, and Funeral Party).

Although based in LA, the duo of Lindsey Troy on vocals and guitar and Julie Edwards on drums has been making a huge splash overseas, with NME boasting that the band makes, “The sort of dirty music we need right now.” UK’s Independent wrote “Their spit ‘n’ blood rock makes Joan Jett and Jack White sound like the Disney Club.”
