ECLIPTYKA SIGNS TO RAGE ON STAGE MANAGEMENT

By on September 23, 2011

Collectively, “ECLIPTYKA” was fused in 1998, by members Helena Martins (main vocals), Hélio Valisc (guitars and backing vocals), Guilherme Bollini (guitars and scream vocals), Eric Zambonini (bass) and Tiago Catalá (drums).

Ecliptyka has a unique sound with straight forward, no nonsense vocals by Helena Martins with occasional blending by Hélio Valisc … finishing along aggressively are the vocals of Guilherme Bollini. Symbolic barreled guitar riffs spun by driving drums and quick snappy-back bass lines bring the foundation from the floor to the stage, clearly elevating their musicianship to a level not seen or heard before.

The band is influenced by many styles from Metal, Heavy Metal to Death Metal and Metalcore, however to try and fit them in any specific genre would be insane because you can still even find a progressive influence as demonstrated on “We Are the Same” and it’s obvious the lyrics, as well as the band directs expressed feelings and ideas, altogether trying to convey awareness about current world issues.

The band Ecliptyka has shared the stage with important heavy metal greats, such as Dr. Sin, Tuatha de Danann, Mindflow and others, and took to the stage in shows throughout São Paulo state. At the end of year 2007, the band released its first independent cd called “The First Petal Falls” and in July 2008, the band went on a tour throughout Europe, where they took part in major festivals with noted European greats. Ecliptyka then gained attention from the international media and carried on to give interviews to Brazilian TV, radio shows and was considered one of the best national bands of 2008 by the columnist Costábile Salzano Jr from TV Tribuna and was asked to perform at top Brazilian festivals and recently was a supporting act band for the touring Dutch band Delain, Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish), The Agonist and Revamp in São Paulo.

Currently, Ecliptyka constantly tours throughout Brazil to promote their new album called ‘’A Tale of Decadence’’, released in Brazil on March 2011 via Die Hard Records and in Japan on Radtone Music in September of 2011. This album has a much updated concept, with lyrics about destruction of the Planet by humans, cruelty against animals, politics and war …

In August 2011, Ecliptyka signs with Rage On Stage Management from the USA, which is now responsible for all their business relations worldwide. Helena says ”We couldn’t be happier with the signing to Rage On Stage Management. It’s an amazing opportunity for us to collaborate with Frank James and spread our music throughout the world. We are very excited and look forward to working together with the ROSM family and making all our efforts worth it!” Frank from ROSM quotes “We anticipate the arrival of Ecliptyka for a US tour in July of 2012” as well as the release to a new video in September this year!
