Escape Music Festival is excited to share the Single Day Lineups along with Single Day and VIP Tickets on-sale for the inaugural event being held at Pier 9 in Red Hook Brooklyn on Oct 11 – 12, 2014. The full lineup includes Girl Talk, Moby (DJ Set), Placebo, Yeasayer, Mayer Hawthorne, The Joy Formidable, Ra Ra Riot, The Crystal Method, STRFKR (DJ Set), Moon Boots, Bakermat and more. In addition, the full lineup announces exciting additions to the Elrow stage, including Alan Fitzpatrick, Sebastien Leger, and more. The full lineup is below, along with the daily schedule.
Escape Music Festival’s lineup is masterfully curated by Brooklyn’s The Most Definitely and San Francisco’s Beautiful Buzzz. The Most Definitely is a dedicated advocate of indie music culture. Based out of Brooklyn, The Most Definitely is a music blog, record label and live event producer devoted to the early stage development of our favorite indie artists. Beautiful Buzzz is a new music blog and event production company based out of San Francisco, CA. Their goal is to expose up-and-coming artists who they believe are on the cutting edge of indie pop, electronic, and dance music. Sunday’s Elrow stage is presented by Barcelona’s Elrow, a landmark institution in the Spanish and European dance scene. The stage will be transformed with Elrow’s immaculately constructed visual theme and lineup. This marks Elrow’s first excursion into the USA.
Escape Music Festival will also feature various transportation options to Red Hook’s Pier 9. From Manhattan, patrons can take ferries from South Street Seaport’s Pier 11 directly to the venue, ferry tickets are on sale on the Escape Festival site for $35 round trip for both days. Uber will also be hosting a dedicated pick up spot at Imlay and Summit Street. More information and travel options can be found HERE. It will make its debut October 11-12 at Pier 9 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and feature 30 performances over the course of both days to an audience of more than 16,000 people. Balearic Entertainment was established in 2013 by Merritt Quirk, and was born out of experiences in New York, adventures in Buenos Aires, friendships in Barcelona, and the influences of Ibiza.
