EVE 6 IN THE STUDIO RECORDING NEW ALBUM WITH PRODUCER DON GILMORE
Multi-platinum act EVE 6 is currently in the studio with legendary producer Don Gilmore (Pearl Jam, Dashboard Confessional, Good Charlotte, The All-American Rejects), putting the finishing touches to their long-awaited fourth studio album. Eight years since the release of the Southern California trio’s last album, 2003’s It’s All In Your Head, the album is slated for release via Fearless Records in early 2012.
FUSE TV shot an exclusive update with the band in the studio, to get the scoop on what brought them back together, what they’ve learned, and what fans can expect from the new album. Check it out here.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to make a real album again with all the right ingredients,” notes frontman Max Collins. “In this day and age it’s harder than ever for rock bands to record music with the care and attention needed, so we’re definitely making the most of it. Having the original lineup and producer gives the whole thing an authenticity, and nothing but the very best material that we’ve accumulated over the last few years is going on this thing. We truly can’t wait to get this out and into people’s ears!”
Don Gilmore’s previous work includes production on Linkin Park‘s 10 x platinum-seling album Hybrid Theory and 5 x platinum-selling release Meteora. Gilmore also produced EVE 6’s platinum-selling self-titled debut album.

Since their debut in 1998, EVE 6 – comprised of Max Collins (Vocals / bass), Jon Siebels (guitar), Tony Fagenson (drums) – has sold in excess of three million albums in North America, noted for their brand of clever and high energy pop-punk-rock. The band’s three albums have spawned a number of top singles, including #1 smash “Inside Out”, “Think Twice”, “Promise”, “Leech”, and the radio/MTV mega-anthem “Here’s to the Night,” which continues to serve as the theme for many high school graduations and proms to this day.
After a brief disbandment in which the members pursued various other projects, Eve 6 reformed in early 2008, and spent much of the following two years on the road reconnecting with their fan base and playing to crowds wildly enthusiastic about their return. The band signed to Fearless Records in May 2011.
