Everclear announces new album and Art Alexakis Fall solo tour

Everclear has announced their new album, Black Is The New Black, setto release in Spring 2015.Fans can catch Art Alexakis, vocalist and guitarist of Everclear, on his solo tour this fall! The North American tour, “Songs & Stories – An Evening with Art Alexakis of Everclear,” kicks off on November 14th in Ramona, CA, and wraps on December 17th in West Hollywood.

 

With attendance, each fan will receive a download card to immediately receive an advance copy of the first single off Black Is The New Black! The single won’t officially be released until early 2015.

Everclear’s sound reflected the rock, post-punk, and singer/songwriter influences of frontman Alexakis, including acts like X, the Replacements, the Pixies, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Elvis Costello.The band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records, Sparkle and Fade, So Much for the Afterglow, and Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile, which were all certified platinum in sales.

 

Alexakis has since started up the Summerland Tour that occurs every summer with Everclear and other 1990s alternative rock bands.
