Farewell Fighter Releases Lyric Video for First New Song In Two Years

By on February 28, 2013

Farewell Fighter premiered last night a lyric video for a new song called “Grow,” the band’s first new song in over two years. The video premiered via PropertyOfZack.com and it is currently available for streaming via the group’s YouTube page.

“Grow” was released as a preview of things soon to come for Farewell Fighter. The band has been toiling away, recording a new album for the last year-plus. “Grow” is the first released result of those recording sessions; produced by Motion City Soundtrack’s Joshua Cain, the track is one of the band’s most impressive numbers to date.

The band, which recently opened for Mae in its hometown of Nashville, takes the next step forward in its sound with “Grow.” Farewell Fighter most recently released an EP called The Way We Learn, which received heavy praise in the blogosphere when it was released in early 2011. AlterThePress called that EP “a catchy, hook-laden affair,” and those stylings are prominent again with this new track.
