Rock outfit Motive presents some exciting new singles as a follow-up to their debut self-titled EP released in 2011. FILTER and Motive present you a look into what the band has been up to recently with this video premiere of their single “Nobody Eats My Dinner”. A story-line of what seems to be a “regular” 9am-5pm “young-desk-professional”, the music video toys with the silly details behind rejection and feeling like “one of the crew”. Watch the reel below, and also check out a separate political-spoof video featuring the band’s single “Nobody Eats My Dinner” posted earlier this week, stirring up a raucous amongst political blogs.
If you’re in the New York City area, catch Motive January 28 over at Cameo. For all things Motive, visit Here.

New York fans have a chance to catch the band live on January 28th when they perform at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn (93 N 6th St Williamsburg). And as a special treat, the first 100 fans at Cameo will receive a free copy of the full color CD printed with the new single.
Who is Motive?
Motive is a four-piece rock outfit made up of 3/4’s Seattle, 1/4 Jersey, and currently 100% Brooklyn. A year after releasing their debut self-titled EP, the band recently entered the studio with producer/mixer Caleb Shreve aka Chuck Brody (Phantogram, Bear Hands, Ra Ra Riot, etc) to record the new singles, “What’s So Bad?” and “Lay Some Light,” which were mastered by Joe LaPorta (Hooray For Earth, Vampire Weekend, The National, etc). Their talent has earned them performances alongside Bear Hands, Free Energy, Mon Khmer, Alberta Cross, Born Ruffians, Young Rivals, The Vaccines, Little Racer, Oberhofer, and more.
Nick Wold, Andrew McGovern, Chris Bagamery, and Dave Leondi
