For The Broken Finishes New EP entitled ‘Aurora’

By on February 16, 2013

Fredericksburg, VA’s For The Broken is excited to announce that their new EP entitled Aurora is completed and will be released later this year. The five song release was produced and mastered by Life On Repeat’s Andrew Baylis (Apparitions, Camisado, Honour Crest, Provoke Destroy) and features artwork by Sphere Studios (Chad Orange of Honour Crest). Drummer Jacob Buttner had this to say about the record, “Aurora was a mix of every single part of us. We all bring so much to the table and we all have so many influences. So we found a way take all these influences and put them all into this EP which is just as much a part of us as we are of it. There’s so much passion in every song and it really comes out in our music. We wrote about our experiences, but we try to keep it about our fans. We want people to relate to us so we keep the subjects broad but still to the point.”
For The Broken is currently in the running for Skye’s March band of the month, in which they are exceptionally in the lead, where voting is taking place right now HERE. The winner each month receives a photo shoot, an article in Syke’s Magazine, Syke merch, and heavy promotion. With all the hype surrounding them and the desire to tour, For The Broken has also signed on Persistent Heart Media’s Head of Booking Lauren Richey as their booking agent. Fans can expect the band to be hitting the road hard this summer.
