FRNKIERO ANDTHE CELLABRATION, the new project from Frank Iero, debuts their fantastic new video today for “Weighted” – the first video from the band’s upcoming full-length album, Stomachaches, due out on Staple Records on August 25, 2014.

Directed by the Brooklyn, NY-based duo comprised of Brandon LaGanke and John Carlucci known as Ghost + Cow, “Weighted” features the Gradyville Growler Gang trying to resurrect their fallen hero. Check it out here:

I’m so excited for people to see this video we made,” said Iero.  “When I first wrote out the treatment/concept, I knew it had to be John Carlucci and Brandon Laganke in the directors chair and my friend Tate Steinsiek on special effects. No one else could have made my dreams a reality like they did. I needed incredibly talented, sick-in-the-head individuals who didn’t mind working 32 hours a day to make this all happen. And I must say I am forever indebted to their beautifully deranged spirits.”

New headline dates have recently been announced as part of frnkiero andthe cellabration’s fall touring schedule. In addition to supporting Taking Back Sunday and The Used on their upcoming North American co-headline tour set for September, the group (Iero, Evan Nestor on guitar, Rob Hughes on bass and drummer Matt Olsson) will also be performing a headline set at GameChanger World in Howell, New Jersey on September 6 as well as on September 7 in Philadelphia at Boot & Saddle and October 9 in Baltimore, Maryland at Metro Gallery.  See current dates below and find ticket links at

Recorded in studios located in and out of his New Jersey home, Stomachaches is the debut solo album from frnkiero andthe cellabration and features Iero playing everything on the album save for drums, which were manned by former MCR touring drummer Jarrod Alexander. Produced by Iero and mixed by Ed Rose, the album is a rocket ride of styles, attitudes and emotions, at times conciliatory and resigned, contradictory and caustic. The sonic and emotional arcs the album’s 12 tracks cover create a curious lattice of basement-show punk fury, frayed nerve endings and quiet singer-songwriter desperation.

Stomachaches will be available at physical and digital retail outlets on August 25, 2014.
