Galantis debuts new song ‘Runaway'(U&I)’ out now on Big Beat Records

By on October 6, 2014

Galantis have “filled a giant void” in electronic music, and they “follow… through on high, self-set expectations,” recounts Dancing Astronaut in their debut of the Swedish duo’s brand new track titled “Runaway (U & I)” arriving on October 5th via Big Beat Records. The track follows their ‘Galantis EP Remixes’ package out now and their debut ‘Galantis EP’ which has garnered international acclaim from the likes of A-list peer producers, including Hardwell, Kaskade, Diplo, Tiësto as well as #4 chart placement on iTunes Dance along with #8 mark on Shazam overall.

Comprised of producers ChristianBloodshyKarlsson (‘Best Dance Recording’ GRAMMY award winning producer and one-third of Miike Snow) and Linus Eklöw (aka Style of Eye, famed co-writer/producer on Icona Pop “I Love It” ft. Charli XCX) – Galantis expertly combine elements across the electronic spectrum – thumping beats, deep-rooted house rhythms, soulful vocals and pounding synths – to create exciting anthems with memorable hooks.

If you missed their sold-out shows at NYC’s famed Bowery Ballroom, the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, or their explosive live debut at 2014 Coachella, catch them on tour this fall.

“If this fresh electronic groove doesn’t make you move, you aren’t human!” – USA Today

“Galantis sounds like your go-to dance track served shaken, chilled, and definitely on the rocks.” —Refinery29
