Gillian Carter is a three piece post hardcore/screamo band from Palm Bay, Florida. Drawing influence from bands like Orchid, La Quiete, The Kodan Armada and You and I, Gillian Carter plays an abrupt, brooding style of modern screamo similar to that of contemporaries like innards. After forming in December of 2005, they released their demos between 2005 – 2006 on August 9, 2006. They released their latest full-length, Lost Ships Sinking With the Sunset, in 2013.
