GLASS CLOUD RELEASES “SHE IS WELL AND NOTHING CAN BE ILL” LIVE PERFORMANCE MUSIC VIDEO

By on December 14, 2012

Equal Vision Records’ Glass Cloud has released an action packed live performance video for their song “She Is Well and Nothing Can Be Ill” off of their debut album The Royal Thousand.

The video was filmed by Nick Godsell on the band’s recent run on the 2012 AP Tour in Norfolk, VA at Norva and Richmond, VA at Kingdom and captures the band’s wildly memorable stage presence and charismatic, engaging personalities found both on and off the stage. The explosive video premiered yesterday on AltPress.com and is now also available on Youtube.com/equalvision

Since the July 10 release of The Royal Thousand, Glass Cloud has toured extensively, performing on The Road To Metal Fest Tour, Scream It Like You Mean It 2012, and a Canadian run with labelmates Texas In July; And at festivals around the country such as New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, SXSW, Jamboree, South By So What, and Never Say Never, where Glass Cloud has shared stages with the likes of Killswitch Engage, Every Time I Die, Trivium, and more. With each and every performance, Glass Cloud has commanded the attention of the audience and won over crowds with their impressive display of exceptional musicianship, over the top energy, and dynamic performances.

The Royal Thousand was recorded in Escondido, CA at Lambesis Studios, with 8-string guitarist Josh Travis also serving as producer. The band has been praised around the world, with UK’s Big Cheese Magazine penning, “Glass Cloud demonstrates the grittiest representation of the uprising melodic hardcore groups with the addition of having some of the finest musicians within said genre,” and noting the album’s display of “…limitless vocal ranges and driving intricacies, aided by mind-blowing riffs and electrifying melodies.” Metal Hammer comments directly on “She Is Well And Nothing Can Be Ill” lauding that it’s “full of polyrhythmic wizardy, piercing riffs and jarring notes…” while Alternative Press states, “Roush’s voice recalls Deftones’ Chino Moreno at times, his melodies sharing a certain moody intensity with that band, too. Travis, meanwhile, is a Meshuggah-indebted technical death-metal player wielding an eight-string guitar and chunking out ultra-dense chords and eardrum-sanding waves of dissonance…the amount of potential here is astronomical.”

Glass Cloud will continue to bring their animated, axe swinging performances throughout North America in 2013, kicking off the year on tour with Silverstein, featuring additional support from Like Moths To Flames, Secrets, and Issues.
