Gramatik announces Spring tour dates featuring Branx, Gibbz & Russ Liquid

By on February 20, 2014

After kicking off 2014 with a brand-new album and a highly successful North American Winter Tour, which sold out back-to-back shows in New York City at Best Buy Theater and Output Nightclub, Gramatik and his Lowtemp labelmates, Branx, Gibbz, and Russ Liquid reveal another round of tour dates coming up this spring.

Gramatik continues to take his stage performances to the next level by incorporating live instrumentalists and vocalists on select dates meaning no two shows are ever the same. In addition to setting the vibe for each night, multi-instrumentalist Russ Liquid will be jumping in on Gramatik’s set to play anything from the trumpet and sax to the flute and keyboard. The tour begins with a massive set on the Live Stage at Ultra Music Festival and ends with a celebratory headlining performance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater, featuring support from the ten-piece funk band Lettuce, plus the entire Lowtemp crew: Exmag, Branx, and Gibbz.

In true #digitalfreedom fashion, The Age of Reason was released for free, but this time around downloads are available exclusively via BitTorrent, which also hosts releases of other successful electronic artists such as Moby and Kaskade. Within one month since its release, the album already reached nearly a million downloads while topping Billboard’s Heatseekers and Dance/Electronic Albums charts. Featuring live instrumentations and stellar collaborations from the likes of Eric Krasno (of Soulive & Lettuce), Gibbz, Cherub, and Orlando Napier along with his very own funk collective Exmag, Gramatik takes listeners on a stunning and diverse journey through a landscape of unique sounds as he effortlessly shapes elements of blues, swing, hip-hop and rock influences into organic, soulful, bass-infused dance music.

Since his debut performance in 2009, the Slovenian born and NYC-based musician/producer has been lighting up stages and creating a distinct relationship with fans worldwide by way of his funky music and forward-thinking ideologies. Following the upcoming Spring Tour, Gramatik continues to demonstrate his dedication to his music and his fans as he gears up for a European Tour starting in April. But have no fear, he will be back in the US just in time for festival season. Stay tuned for more tour dates to be announced for Gramatik and his Lowtemp mates
